Stakeholder dialogue
thyssenkrupp regards the ideas and requirements of its stakeholders as central factors for business success and sustainability management. It is therefore natural that we maintain a continuous dialogue with customers, employees, investors, government, neighbors, and other representatives of civil society. Sustainability aspects play an increasingly important role in this. The formats of the stakeholder dialogue differ according to target group, business sector, or concrete issues. Among others they include:
- Customer and sales talks
- Research and development collaborations and networks
- Employee feedback talks and internal events
- Employee surveys
- Roadshows, general meetings
- Political dialogue
- Neighborhood dialogue
- Partnerships with schools and universities
- Forums and conferences on specific topics
- Trade shows and other events
thyssenkrupp is committed to open, constructive, and transparent dialogue. To this end thyssenkrupp is involved in various multi-stakeholder initiatives and associations such as the United Nations Global Compact, econsense, the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), and the World Steel Association.
